Airthermic Roasters Tunnel Type Of Continuous Flow
These roasters are the optimoum solution considering the maximization of production with a simultaneous minimization of cost per kilo of roasted product.
These particular models is a three – pass roaster, diesel, gas or propane fired. These roasters have a stainless steel conveyor belt (of wire mesh) width of 0,80m - 1.00m (depends on the model). These roasters consists of special direction airflow system from up and down of the belts. The conveyor belt is controlled by a variable electronic speed drive to regulate product retention time.

Control of Roasting Parameters
The Airthermic multi pass roaster design offers the greatest degree of process flexibility. Belt depth, retention time, airflow direction, airflow volume, process temperature and relative humidity can be discreetly controlled for optimum roasting of every kind of nuts. Changing the location of hinged external doors can change airflow volume and relative humidity in a matter of minutes. This allows duplicating existing roasting parameters, but provides the ability to modify the parameters and possibly improve the process in the future.
Heat Exchanger

Most Sanitary Design Available
Our theory is that if it can be seen, it can be cleaned. Doors around the perimeter provide access to the entire interior. With internal doors open, all areas of the roaster can be accessed for sanitation.
Control System
Mikropoulos Charalampos & Son Co can provide fully automatic roasting lines with a unique control panel. Touch screen with PLC unit, linked through a GSM or 3Gs modem straight with our company for 24h service, available after demand.
HOMOGENOUS roasting with an EXCELLENT APPEARANCE of every kind of dried nuts, along with STABLE PRODUCTIONQUALITY. These roasters are fully made of stainless steel, 304 for the body frames and 316L for product contact parts.

MIXER: Mixes the dry nuts with the required materials and it is adjusted in such a way so to upload directly to the elevator.
BUCKET ELEVATOR: Takes the product to the waiting silo which is up to the roaster.
WAITING SILO: Container where the product is stored before roasting.
FEEDER: Feeds the roaster with a constant quantity of product.
COOLER: Vibrating two (2) level perforated tables with suction of air, for the refrigeration of product with forced flow of air.
